Apply Dreamweaver Template to old SDP pages

Install & Configure WordPress

Install & Configure Plugins: Gigs Calendar, NextGen Gallery, Contact Forms

Configure sidebar widgets to be conditional. If on the home page, show one set of widgets. If on a blog page show another set of widgets. If on a page (other than home) show a third set of widgets. (75% complete) (See Multiple Dynamic Sidebars Tutorial. WP Conditional Tags here.)

Add Content.

Educate Client on WordPress Admin area so she can start adding content herself.

Next: Implement a JQuery Content Slider using This Tutorial

Make a page template to list sub-pages for Learning section. (See WP Codex)

Figure out the best solution for selling her art online using a WordPress plugin and PayPal. (I found it I found it! Brand New Screencast!)

Call it complete.

Wing o' the Wolf redo.


The Goal:

To redesign my site reflecting my newfound love of JQuery. Used a JQuery Slider for the header, and the JQuery Lightbox plugin for WordPress.

Images rolled over using CSS Sprites.

Of course, now it isn't doing what I want it to, either. I'm thinking about starting all over again. Maybe for Fall.

Goal: To develop a site to promote John Thorndike's Novels and Memoirs. Use a highly monochromatic theme, and one, serif font, to give it the feeling of print on screen. Really focus on Typography.
